• These adorable mascots for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. SO. FREAKING. CUTE. And they have a cryptozoology theme! Excellent.
• Being accepted into GRAD SCHOOL! Yeah! I start in the Fall, but I might try to pick up a couple undergrad pre-reqs I need over the summer. It is all online too, awesome. Crazy green vegan dirt worshiping tree hugger with an MBA? That sounds like a force to be reckoned with to me!
• Newly discovered, hilarious blog: @ the Library. Look, some of you still think that working in a library means reading all day and shushing people. Check out this blog if you want to know what life in the public library is REALLY like. It’s funny because it’s SO TRUE!
• Fringe! I really didn’t think I was going to like last night’s episode, but it was so good! The only thing I don’t like is that Internal Affairs guy who just likes to create red tape and get in their business. Most of us have to deal with guys like that in the real world, so we hate to see them on TV. I’m secretly hoping he gets killed off No more new episodes til April though, but at least it’s been picked up again, right? New shows I like have this nasty habit of disappearing.
• Valentine’s Day! I’ll be spending Valentine’s day with my hubby, we’re going to go see Taken and Friday the 13th this weekend! I’ve heard nothing but good things about Taken, and I am a sucker for slasher movies (also, I ♥ Michael Bay) so Friday the 13th should be awesome!
