Valentine’s Day with my hubby! Instead of trying to guess what kind of gift the other wanted, we both went to Hobby Lobby and bought stuff to do projects. He tried oil paint for the first time and I made some cute necklaces! We’re definitely going to try to find more time for arts and crafts!
Pepsi with REAL SUGAR! I’d love to be able to say that I don’t drink anything except water and fresh fruit juice. But no, I drink pop. Lots of pop. Not as much as I used to, but still a lot. The health food world is always telling me not to eat aspartame (the sweetener in diet pop) or high fructose corn syrup (the sweetener in regular pop) so what’s a girl to do? Drink Pepsi with REAL SUGAR when it comes out in April, of course. Neverminding the caffeine, the insane amount of sugar, and the general havoc it will have on my body, of course. But if I am going to drink it ( and I am) then its better without the aspartame and HFCS, right? Right?
This teen who wants to get a law banning “debarking” passed in Boston! I don’t even want to get started on debarking. Maybe it’s because I’ve had dogs most of my life, dog barking doesn’t really bother me. Maybe if it is the middle of the night and they just keep barking. But that means there is something wrong, dogs don’t bark for no reason. I do have a problem with neighbors finding all sorts of ways to get into each others’ business, and debarking is a fine example of that. An annoying barking dog in the neighborhood is a problem with a thousand other solutions that don’t involved mutilating an animal.

Being accepted into GRAD SCHOOL! Yeah! I start in the Fall, but I might try to pick up a couple undergrad pre-reqs I need over the summer. It is all online too, awesome. Crazy green vegan dirt worshiping tree hugger with an MBA? That sounds like a force to be reckoned with to me!

Fringe! I really didn’t think I was going to like last night’s episode, but it was so good! The only thing I don’t like is that Internal Affairs guy who just likes to create red tape and get in their business. Most of us have to deal with guys like that in the real world, so we hate to see them on TV. I’m secretly hoping he gets killed off No more new episodes til April though, but at least it’s been picked up again, right? New shows I like have this nasty habit of disappearing.
Valentine’s Day! I’ll be spending Valentine’s day with my hubby, we’re going to go see Taken and Friday the 13th this weekend! I’ve heard nothing but good things about Taken, and I am a sucker for slasher movies (also, I ♥ Michael Bay) so Friday the 13th should be awesome!
